Technical Features & Design Highlights

• Electric-only range: For many of the new hybrids, about 50 miles (≈ 80 km) is achievable under WLTP in models like the High Performance Hybrid for the GT / GTC / Flying Spur. 

• Battery & drivetrain: The battery packs are substantial (≈ 25.9 kWh in the GT Speed, etc.). The electric motor is typically placed between the petrol engine and the transmission. 

• Drive modes / hybrid behavior: Multiple drive profiles. The hybrids have modes like EV only, hybrid, hold (keeping battery charge for later), etc. Bentley also uses predictive navigation / predictive E-mode to optimize when to use electric vs petrol. 

• Chassis / dynamics: Even with the hybrid additions (battery etc.), Bentley is retaining — and in many cases enhancing — handling / ride refinement: active chassis systems (air springs, adaptive dampers), rear-wheel steering, dynamic anti-roll (Dynamic Ride), electronic limited slip differential (eLSD). 

Comparisons / What’s Improved vs Old Models

• The new hybrid-V8 versions surpass the old W12 Speed models in power, torque, and many performance metrics. For instance, the High Performance Hybrid V8 beats prior W12 in output in many respects. 

• EV-only performance has improved (higher speed, longer range). Also more attention to efficiency, emissions in hybrid mode. 

• Bentley has also redesigned or updated styling in certain trims (e.g. Azure) to emphasize luxury, wellness, comfort alongside performance. Interior material quality, features, comfort systems are part of the package.
